The Board of Directors and the Executive Board are responsible for the overall governance of the organisation. The Board of Trustees acts as employer, supervisor and sparring partner of the Board of Directors. Under the Board of Directors and Executive Board, daily management takes place by the Managementteam.
These years represent the Hotel school in the sign of further development in the field of organisational culture, efficiency, internationalisation, professionalisation and strengthening the top team.
The corporate office of Hotelschool The Hague consists of two secretaries who support the Board with policy-making and decision-making processes at an institutional, faculty and/or organisational entity level. The vacancy for the General Corporate Secretary regards mainly the preparation, execution, follow up of the corporate guidelines, processes and procedures.
Within the corporate office the General Corporate Secretary and Educational Corporate Secretary work closely together and substitute each other.
The Corporate Office is responsible for integral support of the Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors and the Executive Board. The department supports the organisation regarding student affairs, supervision of educational quality monitoring, processes, the PDCA cycle, as well as being responsible for legal advice.
Together with the other staff departments, the Corporate Office is responsible for ensuring the execution of the Institution Plan (with regard to the Higher Education Act), the Strategic Plan, Year plan and the Annual Management Agenda, Quarterly reports and the Annual report.
The General Corporate Secretary reports directly to the Chair of the Board of Directors.
Hotelschool The Hague offers per year (fulltime base) a salary in the range of € 76.500,- gross all-in (end-of-year bonus & holiday allowance), depending on your professional experience and qualifications. This position is initially for a period of one year.
